Calcium is a basic component of bones and teeth, which influences the body's electrolyte balance, being an irreplaceable element for numerous vital functions. Calcium is also essential for the normal functioning of blood clotting and muscle contraction and nerve impulse transmission.
Vitamin D3 is essential for the development of healthy bones. Vitamin D3 promotes intestinal absorption of calcium and stimulates the deposition of mineral salts in bones.
Vitamin K, in addition to its role in the synthesis of clotting factors, is also involved in bone mineralization, by acting on the metabolism of osteocalcin (the protein matrix of bones), acting synergistically with vitamin D3. In the presence of vitamin K, osteocalcin binds ionic iron, thus ensuring normal bone calcification.
Ingredients:
1 effervescent tablet contains: calcium 600 mg (75%*), vitamin K 37.5 µg (50%*), vitamin D 2.5 µg (50%*).
